He is former Director, National Productivity Council. He has 33 years’ experience as a Management Consultant and Trainer in NPC. He has to his credit a large number of consultancy assignments in public, private and government sectors. He has designed, developed and conducted a large number of training programmes, seminars, symposia and conferences on the field of Human Resource Development and Management, Industrial Engineering and Productivity.
He has been posted abroad also as Advisor – HRD to Ministry of HRD and Education, Republic of Mauritius.
He is a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with Post Graduate Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management. He is also a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations.
He is an active member of professional bodies like AIMA, HRD Network, ISTD. He has undergone training on subjects of HRD, Management and Productivity in Asian countries like Japan, Singapore, Philippines.
He has a few publications also to his credit. He has presented papers in various national and international seminars/conferences/workshops.
He has been associated with Management Institutes as Professor-HR and Advisor MDP. He has been teaching the following papers to MBA classes:

- Organizational Behaviour.
- Group Dynamics.
- Industrial Relations.
- Development.
He is also a Visiting Faculty to various professional organizations / Institutes to deliver lectures on HRD/HRM, Industrial Engineering, Management and Productivity topics.
