1. Full time faculty members working in any member School of GMA are eligible to participate in the competition.Each participant can submit only one paper.
2. Each school may nominate only one faculty member.
3. The following details of the nominee should be sent with the nomination:

o Name, Age, designation and experience.
o Academic and professional qualification with specialization, please mention year and University against each qualification.
o Courses taught and student feedback on each course, if available. Development of innovative courses should be highlighted.
o Chronological list of publications in referred journals.
o Evidence of high quality research.
o Publications of books with title, abstract, year of publication and name of publisher.
o Participation and presentation of paper in National / International Seminars, Conferences, Workshops etc.
o List of visiting assignments.
o List of Management Development Programmes designed and conducted.
o Major Consultancy Projects handled highlighting contribution made.
o Contribution to Institution building.

4. The nomination should be routed through the Head of the School and should include a personal assessment by the Head of the School of the nominee highlighting the standing of the candidate in the Profession as Management Educator.
5. The envelope should be superscribed ‘Best Teacher Award’.
6. The last date for receipt of the nominations is 10th Oct. 2008.
7. The Best Teacher Awardee will be felicited and will receive a gold medal at the 20th GMA Annual Convention to be held on 14-15 November 2008. He / she will also participate in the Convention as an invited guest and in addition to local hospitality will be reimbursed.
