Student Managers Doing MBA/PGP/PGDM

Ghaziabad Management Association (GMA) in association with the Integrated Academy of Management & Technology (INMANTEC), Ghaziabad is organizing a Summer Research Project Competition meant for MBA/PGP/PGDM students. In brief following are the objectives behind organizing this competition:

• To encourage Management students to conduct high-quality summer Research projects,
• To provide a forum for high-quality Summer Research Projects for a nationwide exposure,
• To recognize excellent projects by giving them monetary and other awards, and
• To provide industry a forum to learn about excellent work done by Management students during their summer training.

We invite your institute to nominate deserving projects for the competition. The students can also submit projects on their own if they so choose. We intend to give away three awards with Rs 2500 being the highest award. All participants will receive participation certificate. You are requested to encourage your students for taking part in the competition. The best Summer Project will also fetch the winning student manager a unique award for the Best Summer Trainee of the region during 20th Annual Convention of the GMA.

GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPATION

Rules:
1. The submission must be a conceptual/analytical model or an empirical research project.
2. The students presenting project must make their own travel and accommodation arrangements. They also need to abide by all other requirements indicated in the information brochure.
3. The project must be limited to 50 A4/Letter size pages that are double-spaced and in 11 point Times New Roman Font. Margin of one inch must be provided on all sides.
4. In order to restrict the project size to 50 pages, the participant is encouraged to give importance to the research problem, methodology, findings and conclusions and its relevance in the present business environment.
5. In addition, the project must also be accompanied by an abstract that does not exceed 100 words.
6. INMANTEC reserves rights to amend these rules without prior notice, if necessary.
7. The nomination should be made by the b-school head (or an authorized faculty/officer). It is requested to the concerned faculty/head to do preliminary screening and send only the best qualified entry (ies).
8. A covering letter providing names of the nominated students and titles of their projects should be submitted for the competition.
9. Maximum two entries per institute are permissible.
10. This competition is open to the member institutions or individual members of GMA (Ghaziabad Management Association).
Evaluation Process:
1. First, the projects will be evaluated by a committee consisting of eminent professor from their respective field.
2. Each project will be sent to two external reviewers. Projects will be evaluated using a double-blind review process. This is done to ensure objectivity and fairness in the evaluation process Summer Research Projects must be submitted to Prof Vipin Agrawal, at vipin.agrawal@inmantec.edu
